Quarantines and lock downs are ending for now: Here’s how it will affect your sewing business going forward.
Well I’ve written before about how to jump start the nation and your sewing business here during a pandemic.
And we can see from what is happening around the world
that a glimpse of hope is returning, but at the same time,

Itappears social distancing measures such as face mask etc. could be with us for a
long time.
Maybe
forever.
As you
probably already know, this is not the first time people have influenza type pandemics
around the world.
But this is
the first time that these worldwide quarantines and lock downs have been dished
out.
And many of
you have had an opportunity to help those on the front lines by making face
masks (see link below to article: DIY facemask tutorial)
and donating
them to those on the front lines of this epidemic.
Many states
in the u.s.a. and many nations are relaxing lock downs and quarantines are
ending, albeit slowly.
Good news is
trickling out that things are getting better.
However here’s
a glimpse of what things may look like going forward.
One
country’s leader said:

Even the president of the u.s.a is making remarks to that nature, that social distancing is not a bad idea, although he may not make it mandatory.
In some
areas of the u.s. people are fed up with the lock downs and are taking to the
beaches…

No matter
what side of this you sit on,
it appears
that making face masks is a given for your sewing business going forward.
We're already seeing face masks of different designs and colors etc. appearing as a staple in many parts of the world.
If you’re
just starting your sewing business, you may wish to give them away to drive
traffic.
In addition,
you can sell custom face masks.

One easy way to make custom face masks is to use an Iron on design on the mask.
Of course
you can do this with T shirts, ball caps, and anything else.
Making your
product a custom product is a very good idea for your sewing business.
And it’s
especially good for giving gifts and free samples.
And when you
can easily add an iron on design for just a few cents per mask,
it is easy
to see that it can be very good for your sewing business.
Standing out
from the crowd and having a unique product is always a good idea, in your
sewing business and any business.
Giving gifts
could take on a whole new dimension such as with birth days for your grand children, family
members and friends.
How much more appreciated will your gift be when it is custom to their likes.
And if you need a sewing machine instruction manual you can get it here.
And if you
liked this article, please bookmark it and tell your friends this is a
perfectly good place to get your sewing machine instruction manual,
and now also
your digital iron on designs for
your sewing projects.
As we’re
rolling this out, and you’re here while it’s happening, you have an opportunity
to give us feedback on the type of designs you would like to see and any other
input.
